Bass music in 2025 is bigger, faster, and more emotionally charged than ever. Built on decades of evolution, today’s producers are pulling from trance, dubstep, techno, hyperpop, and beyond. The result is a new wave of high-impact sound that’s as much about emotion as it is about groove.

This movement inspired our latest preset expansions: Low-End Code and Prism Leads. Designed to match the energy and precision of today’s mainstage moments, they’re built for modern festival sets and forward-thinking production.

If you want to hear the sounds that inspired them—start here.

Hamdi

With a signature blend of UKG, grime, dubstep, and rave energy, Hamdi has exploded into remix culture through releases like Skanka and Push (his collab with Skrillex). His 2025 EP Abomination has cemented his position as a boundary pushing artist navigating the outer limits of aggressive bass chaos.

Biscits

A rising star in the bass house scene, Biscits blends club-ready grooves with big-room energy. Known for crowd-moving hooks and gritty breaks, his sound bridges minimal, tech house, and bass elements into something both polished and undeniable.

Skrillex

After more than two decades in the game, Skrillex remains a defining voice in global dance music. Following his 2023 resurgence with Quest for Fire, he’s continued his momentum through high-profile collaborations and his latest full-length, FUS.

Rohaan

Rohaan is a testament to staying true to your vision and letting the world catch up. For more on his backstory, check out our interview with him [here]. To experience three and a half minutes of futuristic breaks that feel equally rooted in yesterday, today, and tomorrow, watch the video above.

Shades

Blending ambient textures with dark, snarling basslines, Shades represents the slower, more methodical side of EDM. Put on Flame Unbroken and step into a world that isn’t your own—one full of shadow, mystery, and some of the most punishing bass pressure ever crafted.

Rezz

One of the key figures in the phonk revival, Rezz has cemented her status as a force in dance music—delivering a crushing set at EDC alongside a string of major festival appearances this year. Her sound is uncompromising, otherworldly, and unmistakably Rezz.

Jon Casey

The South African producer has been a fixture in the underground for over a decade. After breaking through in 2024 with a series of standout releases, his collaboration AHORA with TroyBoi has served as his entry point into the broader world of dance music.

Curbi

The new collaboration from Curbi and AC Slater shows bass music’s embrace of classic house and techno within its stylistic range—creating a new on the floor classic. The result is powerful, unstoppable, and above all, heavy.

Bass music shows no signs of slowing down. As its popularity grows, so does its artistic ambition. What began as a niche sound in a handful of Croydon record shops has evolved into a global phenomenon—drawing from every genre and era to shape the sound of the future.
